Emperor Xuan Zong of Tang, called Li Longji, is the grandson of China’s only female emperor, Wu Ze Tian, and the longest-reigning emperor of the Tang Dynasty, also known as Emperor Ming Huang of Tang, who in the early part of his reign created the Tang Dynasty’s Kaiyuan period, and in the later part favored Yang Guifei, which triggered the Anshi Rebellion, and from then on, the Tang Dynasty went into a state of decline.
