Xiang Liu lived in the era of ancient times and was a minister of Gong Gong. His appearance was terrifying: he had a snake-like body with nine heads and was enormous, able to eat on nine mountains at the same time.

The water he sprayed out was fiercer than floods, bitter and spicy, making it impossible for even beasts and birds to survive. Wherever he went, it turned into a land of swamps, bringing great disasters to the people.

Although Xiang Liu was killed by Yu, his legend lived on.

The story of Xiang Liu is not just a myth, but also contains people’s awe of natural forces and their reverence for heroic figures.
