The 11th series of black words commonly used in business situations in China includes ‘Align and unify（拉通对齐）’, ‘Make a sample（打样）’, ‘Resource exchange（资源置换）’ and ‘Review（复盘）’.
1. Align and unify（拉通对齐）
In a cooperation project, it means unifying the understanding and actions of people from different departments and levels regarding project goals, work progress, business processes, etc., eliminating information gaps and misunderstandings, and enabling all parties to coordinate and promote the project. For example, during the preparation of a large – scale e – commerce promotion event, departments such as operations, marketing, and logistics need to hold meetings several times to align and unify, ensuring seamless connection of links such as product inventory, marketing promotion, and delivery timeliness.
2. Make a sample（打样）
It means creating a sample or model first to display the actual effect, function, quality, etc. of a product or service for the cooperation party to evaluate and provide opinions, so as to facilitate large – scale production or comprehensive promotion later. For example, a furniture manufacturing enterprise makes a sample of a customized sofa for a new customer. Only after the customer confirms that the sample meets the requirements will the enterprise start mass production.
3. Resource exchange（资源置换）
It means that two parties in cooperation exchange the resources they own (such as customer resources, advertising space, technical patents, etc.) to achieve a win – win situation without additional capital investment. For example, an online education platform and a fitness institution reach a resource exchange agreement. The education platform provides online course coupons for the fitness institution’s students, and the fitness institution promotes the education platform to attract potential users.
4. Review（复盘）
After a certain stage of a cooperation project is completed or the entire project is finished, it means looking back and analyzing all the work in the project implementation process, summarizing experience and lessons, finding out problems and improvement directions, and providing references for subsequent projects. For example, at the end of each quarter, the project team will review the business cooperation of that quarter, sort out successful experiences and mistakes, and optimize the work strategy for the next stage.
