1. Complementary advantages(优势互补)
It means that two or more parties in cooperation give full play to their respective advantages in technology, resources, market, management, etc., and make up for each other’s deficiencies, so as to improve the overall efficiency of cooperation. For example, a start – up with advanced technology but lacking market channels cooperates with a mature enterprise that has an extensive sales network in the market but is slow in technology update. The former provides technical support, and the latter is responsible for market promotion. The two parties complement each other’s advantages and jointly explore the market.
2. Joint promotion(联合推广)
Cooperative enterprises integrate their marketing resources, channels, brand influence, etc., and jointly carry out market promotion activities to expand brand awareness, increase product sales, and achieve win – win cooperation. For example, two well – known sports brands jointly launch a limited – edition sports shoe and promote it simultaneously through their official websites, offline stores, social media accounts, and other channels, attracting the attention of a large number of sports enthusiasts.
3. Interest bundling(利益捆绑)
It means closely linking the interests of all parties in cooperation, making the income of each party linked to the overall effectiveness of the cooperation project, prompting all parties to work hard for the common interest goal, and enhancing the stability and enthusiasm of cooperation. For example, in a real estate development project, the developer, the construction company, and the material supplier sign a contract to agree on a share of the sales profit of the project, bundling the interests of all parties to ensure that all parties are actively involved in the project construction.
4. Memorandum of cooperation(合作备忘录)
In business cooperation, it is a written record reached by two or more parties in cooperation on the preliminary intention, main principles, basic framework, etc. of cooperation before formally signing a contract. It is used to clarify the cooperation intention and direction of both parties and lay the foundation for the subsequent signing of a formal contract. For example, after several rounds of business negotiations, two enterprises first sign a memorandum of cooperation, determining key matters such as the general scope of cooperation and the cooperation method, and then sign a formal contract after further refining the terms.
